Precisely as the United manager must have thought the team's momentum remained negative, the Red Devils secured Oliver Glasner's team's first home defeat in the Premier League beginning in February.

Missing the Senegal international's acceleration to depend on, Glasner's side found it difficult to generate another chance as United were able to complete a crucial victory which moves the Red Devils climb above Palace up to sixth spot.
